We are honored to announce that we raised $4800+ through our 1st Annual Charity Show'04 "Drishti - The dancers' vision" held on Nov 5th '05 benefiting Sankara Eye Foundation

Our 3rd Annual Charity Show dedicated to UNICEF India will be held on June 7th, 2008 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm in Blue Bell, PA showcasing beautiful dances and 2 productions: "Snow White" and "Chitra - The Warrior Princess".

 

 

 

    Class for Children

Schedule (Sundays):

LITTLE ANGELS GROUP (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL II-5th year): 4:30pm – 5:45pm (Can accept students based on experience)

TWINKLE STARS GROUP(INTERMEDIATE LEVEL I-3rd year): 5:20pm – 6:20pm (FULL)

Enrollment: The beginner level children's clss (2pm to 3pm) is currently accepting students. Please contact the teacher to sign up for the waiting list: teach_ad@hotmail.com

Minimum age: 6+

Experience: Varies with group (Kids’ ballet lessons are highly recommended to make the best of the children’s flexibility at this age.)

 

Format of class:

  • 10 minutes Yoga and ballet exercises

  • 40 mins of Bharatnatyam

  • 10 mins of flexibility training Western  Classical Ballet

  • After completion of 10/12 months 1/4 hour will be added for : Navanritya - Indian ballet (synthesis of various Indian classical dance forms, semi-classical, Western ballet, yoga and martial arts) ALTERNATED with lessons in selected Folk Dance styles every other class

            

Tuition charges:

 $14 per 1-hour class

 

Dress code:

Gym clothes/Yoga pants/Stretch Pants or loose-fitting Salwar with loose-fitting/stretchable shirts

 

Requirements:

  • Beginner: No previous experience required. Intermediate: 2 yrs+. Advanced: 4 years+

  • Dedication, commitment, sincere hard work and punctuality are expected from every student since there are absolute necessities for learning any art discipline in general

  • True enthusiasm and quest for learning are the only requirements
